Onboarding · The visual half

Your voice is captured. Now let’s capture your look.

The interview taught the system how you sound. This form teaches it how your brand should look: your logos, your colors, your fonts, and your taste. 25 to 35 minutes. Every image attached to your content from here on gets checked against what you give us here.

Why this exists

Generic AI images are the fastest way to look like everyone else.

You’ve seen them. The too-smooth stock-photo people. The office nobody works in. The handshake. AI can generate a thousand images an hour, and almost all of them look like they belong to no one.

The fix is not a better image generator. The fix is your brand kit. When the system knows your exact colors, your fonts, whether your world is warm or cool, whether your images should show faces or stay faceless, every image it makes gets pulled toward you and away from generic.

Most agencies never ask these questions. They grab your logo off your website and call it branding. This form is the difference between images that decorate your content and images that build recognition.

What you’re walking into

11 steps, about 25 to 35 minutes.

Files are optional on every step. Send what you have, skip what you don’t. Starting from scratch is normal: pick “build it for me” and we design the kit for you.

1. Who you are (2 min)

Name, email, business. So we file everything in the right place.

2. What exists today (2 min)

Full kit, just a logo, or nothing yet. Plus links to anything that already shows your brand.

3. The files (4 min)

Primary logo, alternate mark, brand guide. And one honest question: do you even like your logo?

4. Colors (3 min)

Hex codes if you know them, plain words if you don’t. We can read them off your logo too.

5. The feel (1 min)

Modern, heritage, vintage, or bold. One gut answer.

6. Typography (4 min)

Five type personalities below, pick the one that feels like you. Know your exact fonts? There’s a field for each.

7. Taste pairs (3 min)

Four this-or-that picks: people or faceless, documentary or cinematic, minimal or rich, light or dark.

8. The visual tape (7 min)

The most important step. You talk through 2 or 3 brands whose look you love, recorded right in your browser.

9. The never list (3 min)

What should never show up in your images, and the competitors you’d hate to be confused with.

10. Your real photos (2 min)

Do photos of you, your space, your work exist? Real photos make your content unmistakably yours.

11. Anything else (2 min)

The open box. A texture, a place, a magazine whose photos feel like you.

Step 7, explained

The four pairs that decide what your images look like.

People, or faceless?

People: faces build recognition. Your customers learn what you look like and trust grows faster.
Faceless: hands, environments, details. The viewer pictures themselves in the frame. Many strong brands never show a face.

Documentary, or cinematic?

Documentary: natural light, real moments, looks like a great photo a friend took.
Cinematic: staged, dramatic light, looks like a film still. Both work. They just say different things about you.

Minimal, or rich?

Minimal: breathing room, one subject, quiet backgrounds. Feels calm and premium.
Rich: texture, depth, detail everywhere. Feels abundant and alive.

Light, or dark?

Light: bright, open, daytime energy.
Dark: moody, dramatic, evening energy. Or tell us it depends on the message, and we’ll use both with intent.

Step 6, the samples

The five type personalities.

Read each one out loud in your head. One of them sounds like your business. That’s the one. (These are stand-in samples to capture the feel; your final fonts get chosen to match your pick, your logo, and your industry.)

A. The Refined Serif

Quietly expensive. The look of a hardcover book, an editorial spread, a luxury studio.

Feels like: elegant, established, editorial.

B. The Clean Modern

Minimal and current. The look of a sleek product page, a calm app, a confident studio.

Feels like: sharp, current, quietly confident.

C. The Warm Slab

Sturdy and friendly. The look of a great coffee roaster, a workshop, a maker brand.

Feels like: handcrafted, dependable, warm.

D. The Bold Condensed

Loud on purpose. The look of an athletic campaign, a gym, a brand that picks fights.

Feels like: bold, energetic, impossible to ignore.

E. The Script Accent

Personal, like a signature. The look of a wedding studio, a boutique, a handwritten note. Usually paired with a calmer font for everything else.

Feels like: romantic, personal, human.

Not sure? That’s a real answer.

Pick “not sure” in the form and we read your type personality off your logo, your website, and your industry. And if your brand uses a specialized or custom font, there are fields to type the exact names for headlines, subheadings, and paragraphs.

Begin when ready

The visual intake.

Your answers save as you move between steps. The visual tape lives in step 8. Find a quiet half hour.

1 of 11

This is the visual half of your onboarding. The interview captured how you sound. This captures how your brand should look. About 25 to 35 minutes done right. Files are optional on every step: send what you have, skip what you don't. One honest warning: if you finish this in under 10 minutes, your images will be 60% you instead of 95% you.

Step 2 of 11. Be honest. Starting from scratch is normal and nothing here blocks your content.

Step 3 of 11. The files. Highest quality versions you have. PNG with transparent background is the dream, but anything beats nothing. We read your colors and your font style straight off these files, so the better the file, the better the kit.

Honestly, how do you feel about your current logo?

Step 4 of 11. Exact hex codes if you have them (like #1A3C34). If you don't, describe them like you'd describe them to a friend: deep forest green, warm cream, charcoal. And if you have no idea, skip it. We read them off your logo.

When you picture your brand, does it feel warm or cool?

Step 5 of 11. Gut answer. This steers fonts, image style, everything.

Step 6 of 11. Scroll up on this page to the five type samples (A through E) and look at them before answering. Don't worry about font names. This is about feel.

Step 7 of 11. Four quick this-or-that picks. These decide what the images attached to your content actually look like. Gut answers, no overthinking.

Real and raw, or polished and cinematic?

Minimal and airy, or rich and layered?

Light and bright, or dark and moody?

Step 8 of 11. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS FORM. Open Instagram or Pinterest. Find 2 or 3 accounts or brands whose LOOK you love. Any industry, doesn't have to be yours. Tap record and talk through what you love about how they look: the colors, the light, the vibe. Then name one look you can't stand. Don't worry about design words. 'It feels expensive' and 'it feels like a Tuesday morning' are perfect answers. Aim for at least 3 minutes.

Click Start recording. Your browser will ask for microphone permission. Up to 10 minutes. If your device can't record in the browser, a file upload will appear automatically.

Step 9 of 11. The never list. This protects you from images that make you cringe.

Step 10 of 11. This one matters more than it looks. Real photos make your content unmistakably yours. The more you have, the less your images depend on generated scenes.

Step 11 of 11. Last open box.

What happens next

Your kit gets built, and every image gets measured against it.

Right now

You send. Your files and answers land in your private brand folder.

Within a few days

We build your visual kit: exact palette with named roles, font pairing, and a written visual direction that governs every image we generate for you.

Every batch after

Images attached to your content are generated against your kit and checked before you ever see them. When you react to images on your board, your kit gets sharper, the same way your voice does.

Common questions

A few things people ask before starting.

I don’t have a logo or any brand colors. Should I still fill this out?

Yes, and you’re exactly who step 2’s “build it for me” option exists for. Your taste pairs and visual tape tell us more than a logo file would. We design the kit, you approve it, and it becomes yours.

I have a Canva Brand Kit. Can you just use that?

Yes. Paste the share link in step 2 and we pull your colors, fonts, and logos straight from it. Still do the taste pairs and the visual tape, because a Canva kit holds your assets, not your taste.

What’s the visual tape for?

The same thing the voice tape was for in your interview. When you talk about looks you love for five minutes, you reveal taste that no checkbox can capture. It’s the highest-signal part of this form.

Who sees my files?

Eddie. They live in your private brand folder. We don’t share them, post them, or use them for anything outside building your kit and your content. You can request deletion at any time.

Can I update this later?

Submit the form again anytime and the newest version becomes the active one. Rebrands happen. The kit follows you.

Ready when you are.

Dig up your best logo file, find a quiet half hour, and talk like you mean it on the visual tape.
